THE WALK

Ninety minutes across the city.1.5 hours · 2–3 locationsWe move. Two or three spots, with the light changing as we go. You get architecture, streets, and the two of you in the middle of it — a set of photographs that could only have been taken in New York.Best for: couples who want the city in the pictures as much as themselves, and anyone who wants range rather than variations on one backdrop.

Add-ons

• 35mm film — $150 per roll. We shoot it alongside the digital. Thirty-six frames on Kodak — no screen to check, nothing deleted, every frame costs something. It changes how we shoot, and it looks like nothing a digital file does: softer highlights, real grain, color that behaves the way film behaves. Scans come back two to three weeks after your digital gallery, since the roll goes to a lab. We send you the negatives too.

• Sneak peeks — a small edited selection within 48 hours.

• Express delivery — your full gallery on a compressed timeline

• Additional hours — arranged in advance or on the day

We're awkward in front of a camera. Is that a problem?

Nearly everyone says this, including people who look completely natural in their photos. We don't arrange people into poses — we give direction and photograph what happens in between. The frames worth keeping come from the moment right after someone stops performing.

What happens if it rains?

Usually, we shoot anyway. New York rain rarely lasts a whole afternoon, and a wet city photographs beautifully. If it's genuinely unshootable we move it, and weather reschedules are free.
